Our association is made up of a number of marine related companies, based in and around Southampton.
We are like minded in our aims to support each other, the business of the port of Southampton and local charities.

I started working in the Port of Southampton with family Business Williams Shipping in 1997. Now managing Director of Williams Shipping Marine with bases in Southampton’s Eastern Docks as well as Milford Haven. I am joint Managing Director of Williams Shipping Lubricants which provides lubricants and chemicals to the Shipping Industry throughout the UK. I have a passion for ships and shipping and am an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute and also a Southampton Cachalot.

I started working as a Trainee ships agent in August 2001 for Graypen and GP Shipping Southampton and have remained loyal ever since! Now the ‘General Manager South Coast UK’ covering all ports from Falmouth to Dover, but based mostly in Southampton – my home port! Like Philip I have a passion for shipping and am also a member of the Merchant Navy Welfare Board.
